Within the framework of a complete reconstruction of the monument, the baroque building complex of the Camaldolese hermitage of Majk was reborn: in addition to the area consisting of a convent building, seventeen hermits and gardens, the truncated tower was also renewed. The area has also been supplemented with a new, modern inn.
The outstanding Hungarian monument consists of cell houses, a convent building and the surviving tower of a former church rising in the heart of the hermitage. The development was carried out within the framework of the National Castle Program.
