General designer for the interior TSPC helps the work of the South-Korean client SK Innovation in the project that covers the construction of a new battery factory on 430,000 square meters in Komárom. In the Komárom Industrial Park lithium batteries usable in electric cars will be manufactured. According to the earlier press releases, the estimated value of the investment is 97 billion HUF, supported by the Hungarian Government with a grant. Production will start in 2020.

In the construction of the 130,000 square meters large factory, the Hungarian TSPC Group helps the South-Korean client in the preparation of the interior implementation plan and on the field of fire protection. TSPC’s partner is Hyundai Engineering Corporation.

“2020 will be the year of international partnerships in TSPC’s life – says Péter Farkas, the company’s director in charge of international relations. We will soon be able to report on several other projects from beyond Hungary’s borders. We believe that during international cooperation the knowledge of the partners are added together: as one of the largest engineering companies in Hungary, we start out on this road with a strong background and the solid domestic experiences of our colleagues.”

TSPC has been operating a branch office in Hong Kong for years, and conducted Asian preliminary studies with regards to several of their domestic projects. For example, before making the design for the Archive of the National Széchényi Library, they studied the automatized library system in the Chinese city of Guangzhou with a population of 11 million people.

“We think TSPC’s experts can gain important experience during international partnerships, as even tender documents show huge differences in the East and in the West. The ability to adapt to these makes our colleagues flexible, creative and open to the different values of different cultures.” – says Mihály Kádár, TSPC’s owner-executive director.
